Built In: Delay Node

Overview

The Security Flow NL-Delay node is usable over arbitrarily long periods of time, across deploys, or across system restarts.

Functionality

Unlike the delay node, which is reset after a deploy or flow restart, the NL-Delay node is safe to use in those scenarios. Additionally, this node supports arbitrary delay lengths, including delays longer than 24.86 days, the maximum supported by the delay node.

Flow Node

The Security Flow NL-Delay node is usable over long periods of time, across deploys, or across system restarts. Use this node when the necessary delay is longer than the Flow Message Expiration value configured within the Application Settings screen.

Property

Description

Name

The display name of the node within the flows.

Delay

Delays can be hard-coded values or determined from the specified context, such as the incoming message. If the delay does not evaluate to a number, 1 will be assumed. If the delay units is not one of seconds, minutes, or days, days will be assumed.
